Cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) transfers cholesteryl ester (CE) and triglyceride
(TG) between lipoproteins in plasma. However, short term suppression of CETP
biosynthesis in cells alters cellular cholesterol homeostasis, demonstrating an intracellular
